Cylinder Smoothing Sponge

Description

The Cylinder Smoothing Sponge is a cylindrical sponge roller that rotates over the container at the exit of the labelling station. After the label is applied, the container passes under this roller and the whole label, especially the overlap edge, is pressed onto the surface, preventing lifting, bubbling and creasing.

Roller height and pressure are adjusted to the container diameter. The soft sponge structure does not scratch the label surface and leaves no marks on printed labels. Worn rollers are replaced with new ones of matching size.
